Everyone deserves to birth safely, in a supported and empowered environment. Unfortunately, this is not what is happening for many people in our country today. We are in the midst of a perinatal health crisis affecting Black birthing people and their babies. Right now Black birthing people are dying 3-4 times more than their white counterparts in childbirth and the first year. Below are great places to support so that we can start to close that gap, and bring safety and equity to the birth space for everyone.
